Privacy Policy

Your privacy is the default

Ricochet is built so you can play without creating an account, giving us an email address, or being tracked around the internet. We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads.

The game on your device

Progress, settings, and levels you create stay on your device using SwiftData. If iCloud Key-Value Storage is enabled on your Apple Account, cleared-level progress can follow you to your other devices through Apple. We cannot read that iCloud data.

Purchases

The optional Unlock All purchase is a one-time App Store product. Payment is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat only to know whether your Apple Account owns the unlock. We never see your card, Apple ID password, or a full receipt. Restore Purchases returns what Apple already knows about that account.

Community levels

Publishing, browsing, liking, and sharing community levels is optional. The core game works fully offline without it.

If you use community features, the app stores a random device secret in the Keychain and sends it to our Cloudflare Worker. We store only a hash of that secret, plus a display name you choose, levels you publish, thumbnails, likes, and anonymous play counts (views, plays, completes). There is no password and no email.

Published levels and their thumbnails are stored so other players can find and play them. You can remove a level you published; share links to a removed level stop working.

This website

The site at ricochet.vonesy.com does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Share pages for community levels show the level’s public title, creator name, description, and thumbnail.

No other tracking

We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or social SDKs in the app.

Children

Ricochet does not collect data for the purpose of profiling children. Community publishing should not include personal information in level names, descriptions, or thumbnails.
